Kathryn Hill

Our loving mother, sister and friend, Kathryn Lucille Hill, 82 of Richfield, Utah returned home to her Heavenly Father January 5, 2020 in Richfield, Utah.  She was born August 25, 1937 to Edward Jonathan and Pearl Iris Richardson Casey in Price, Utah. Kathryn grew up in Helper, Utah graduating from Carbon High School in 1955.  She attended CEU and met and later married Terry Orson Hill July 25, 1958 in the Manti Temple. Kathryn and Terry were blessed with 6 children. Three boys and three girls which were her world.

Kathryn served in many capacities in the LDS Church.  Her favorite was playing the organ and being involved in the music.  Kathryn started to play the organ at the age of 14. She had a great love for music and played the organ most of her life in church.  Kathryn worked for many years to help support her family. She worked as an Avon lady then later on in she started working in Christensen’s fabric department which was one of her passions.  Kathryn loved to sew. She made many dresses and quilts. She also loved working in the fabric department. She loved the people and made many friends there. Kathryn had a very funny wit and was always joking around with others.  She will be greatly missed.

We would also like to thank the staff at Monroe Canyon Assisted Living and Stonehenge of Richfield for all the love and support that they have given to our mother the last few years.  They were her family as well.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Michael (Melanie) Hill, American Fork, Utah, Michele (Kent) Jolley, Richfield, Utah, Gerald (Lauretta) Hill Ogden, Utah, Dennis (Deana) Hill, Orem, Utah, Tricia (Gary) Monroe, Utah, Terianne Hill, Richfield, Utah; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; her siblings Gerald (Jean) Casey, Gordon (Merrilyn) Casey and Patricia (Francis) Cherry. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Terry Orson Hill.

Funeral Services will be held Friday January 10, 2019  at 12:00 pm in the Richfield LDS 11th Ward located at 1040 S 400 W Richfield , Utah with a viewing from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
