Wanda Louise Jensen Hansen, 83, passed away peacefully October 23, 2013 in Santaquin. She was born October 3, 1930 in Brawley, California to Joseph Fielding and Effie Viola Jensen. She married Michael Monfredi July 8, 1946 and they later divorced. She married Lewis Gilbert Hansen May 25, 1953 in Las Vegas and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lewis passed away June 20, 1990.
Wanda worked as a waitress and later at Signetics. She was active in the LDS Church and had served with her husband in the Provo Temple. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, oil painting, arranging flowers, camping and fishing. She made wedding dresses and flower arrangements for many weddings. She took great pride in her yard and garden. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren who will miss her very much.
She is survived by 3 sons, Michael (Katherine) Monfredi, Castle Dale, Mark J. (Shanna) Hansen, Santaquin, Bruce Hansen, Payson; stepchildren, Ralph (Pat) Hansen, Syracuse, Joyce Villanova, St. George; 15 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren; a brother, Neldon (Diane) Jensen; and two sisters, Norma Barnes and Sharon (Harold) Little. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Tommy Lee, two brothers, Ray Jensen and Darrell Jensen, and a granddaughter, Ariel Nicole Hansen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26th at 11:00 am at the Santaquin 16th Ward, 250 South 580 East, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to services. Interment, Salem City Cemetery under the direction of Brown Family Mortuary, Santaquin.
