Virginia Blackman

Virginia Lucille Porter Blackman, age 92, passed away in Santaquin, Utah September 14, 2021. She was born March 30, 1929 in Loup County, Nebraska.

Virginia graduated high school in Burwell, Nebraska. She then attended the University of Nebraska for her teaching degree. She taught in a one-room school house for several years. She has lived in many places throughout her life. She had been married three times being left a widow each time.

Virginia is survived by her sister Doris Herschberger (90); children Zonna L. Porter Graham, Monte W. Porter, Boyd P. and Mindadee Porter; 9 grandkids, 16 great grandkids and 8 great-great grandkids. She was preceded in death by husbands Frank P. Porter, Byron Mann and Charles L. Blackman, 2 brothers and a sister.

Services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Christian Life Assembly of God, 1498 So. 1700 West, Payson, Utah. Instead of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Virginia's name.
