Violet Ewell

Violet Tillie Robison Ewell, age 89 of Genola, passed away December 1, 2013 in Salt Lake City from complications following surgery.  She was born May 19, 1924 in Genola, Utah to Martin Luther and Susan Jane Throckmorton Robison.  She married Earnest Leland Ewell July 6, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Violet was a member of the LDS church.  She loved to paint, quilt, crochet and work in her garden.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Erna Dean (Howard) Bennett, Salt Lake, Martin (Tessie) Ewell, West Mountain, UT, Rodger (Carol) Ewell, Huntington, UT, Ervil (Peggy) Ewell, Genola, Colette (Murdin) Clements, Salt Lake, Victor (Karen) Ewell, Elmo, UT, Elwin (Cheri) Ewell, Genola; 31 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bertha Robison, Bud Nielson; sisters-in-law, Beth Scott, Udean Camp, Shirley (Darwin) Jackman, Arlin (Annie) Ewell.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 6th at 11:00 am at the Genola LDS Church, Main St. and Center St.  Friends may call at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Thursday 6 to 8 pm and Friday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to services.  Interment, Santaquin City Cemetery.
