Uwin Berg Van Buren, the youngest of seven children, was born January 8, 1913 in Castle Dale, Utah to Carl and Amalia Berg.  She passed away peacefully July 12, 2014 at the Latter Days Assisted Living Center in Santaquin, Utah.

She married Fred H. Van Buren June 16, 1934 in Orangeville, Utah where they resided for 60 years.  She was the loving mother of Roanna Scovill, Santaquin; Kelly Van Buren, Cortez, Colorado; Kay Van Buren, deceased; Winifred Lippold, Centerville, Utah; Barbara Olsen, Jerome, Idaho.  Her posterity consists of 23 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren.

She was an active member of the LDS church serving in many callings including Ward and Stake Relief Society presidencies and as an ordinance worker in the Manti Temple.  She was loved by all who knew her.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to the staff at Latter Days Assisted Living Center for their loving care of our mom the past 10 plus years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16th at 1:00 pm in the Orangeville, Utah LDS Ward. Viewings will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin and Wednesday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Orangeville chapel prior to services.  Interment, Orangeville Cemetery.
