“The world has been forever changed. Today we lost our hero, soldier, father, husband, son, best friend and little brother."

Tommy Lee Kidman, aka Buckner, Little Bro, Reptile Man, Doc or Tommy Guns, left us July 15, 2013 from Schofield Barracks, Wahiawa, Hawaii at age 25. He was born June 3, 1988 in Evanston, Wyoming to Tommy Joe Kidman and Jana Hofer Olson. He attended Payson High School and Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Wyoming graduating in 2006. He married Lacey Grove September 21, 2009.

Tommy attended basic training in 2010 and served our country in Afghanistan as an Army Medic from April 2011 to March 2012.

Tommy always had a smile on his face and could make anyone laugh at any time for no reason. As long as he was outside he was happy - looking for lizards or any other reptiles, swimming in the ocean, hanging with his girls, family and friends. Tommy had the power and ability to accomplish anything he put his mind to. His creativity and talents were many - drawing, guitar, writing, filming, snowboarding, golfing, pool, and expressing his artistry through tattoos for his many comrades. No matter where he went or whom he met, he touched the lives of many. Although our time with him was short, he filled our world with love and laughter, and we will carry him in our hearts forever.

Survivors include his daughters, Gracie Jaelynn (4) and Madeline Noalani (2); his wife, Lacey; mother, Jana Hofer (Dennis) Olson; father, Tom (Donna) Kidman; brothers, Robert Kidman, Chris (Lacey) Kidman, Michael Kidman, David Kidman; sisters, Carol Kidman, Clover (Doug) McNeil; step-brother, Brad (Molly) Olson; step-sister, Becky (Al) Curtis; nieces and nephews, Gavin Cox, Kortney Kaze, Sierra Toomer, Kayla Kidman, Makita Moore, Jazzmin Kidman, Carson Kidman, Brooke Curtis, Jacob Curtis, Hailey Olson, Jaden Olson, Tessa Fisk; brother-in-law, Spencer Grove; sister-in-law, Chantal Grove; mother and father-in-law, Michelle and Jim Grove; grandparents, Carl and Carol Hofer; step-grandma, Florence Olson; brother, Spencer Jennings; along with too many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and brothers in arms to count.
