Tim Hannifin

Tim Hannifin, born on June 5th, 1934, to Brennan and Gertrude Hannifin, peacefully passed away June 18, 2024. Growing up in Eureka, Utah alongside his sister Gertrude Ann, Tim cherished the memories of winters in the town and summers spent at their ranch house near Eureka Cemetery. He proudly graduated from Tintic High School and embarked on a successful mining career that culminated in him becoming the general manager of the Bergin, Trixie, and Apex Mines.

Tim was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed ranching, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was dedicated to his community by serving on the city council and being honored as the Grand Marshall of the Tintic Silver Festival. His commitment extended to the Army Reserve where he earned a marksmanship medal and retired as a sergeant first class.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Lorna, his sons Tim and J.B (Kristi) Hannifin, as well as nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Gertrude Ann, and his daughter Margaret Ann and a great grandson, Owen Flowers.
