Terry Pulham

Terry Sanders Pulham 75 of Payson, Utah passed away peacefully at home on September 21 2022.

Terry was born in Provo Utah to Elma Sanders and Archibald Pulham, His family moved to South Carolina and then later on to California, He graduated from Antioch Senior High School in 1965.

He joined the United States Navy in 1967 he served for 4 years, He went to Navy school for aircraft mechanics with a specialization in hydraulic systems, Where he served 2 tours to Vietnam on the USS America and the USS Oriskany and one tour to the Mediterranean on the USS Saratoga, While in serving he was awarded  the Vietnam service medal with 3 bronze stars, Vietnam campaign medal, and the national defense service medal.

After he left the service he settled in Provo where he worked for BYU as a landscaper for 32 years, He was very proud of his work and loved to point out to everyone all the trees and shrubs he planted throughout the city He later settled in Payson.

Family was very important in his life, Some of his favorite things were the family BBQ's and holiday get togethers he also enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go on hunting and fishing trips with his brothers, children, and grandkids.

Religion was a big part of his life, He was a member of the LDS Church where he loved to sing with the choir, Was also a boy scout leader for a few years and took pride in helping his boys get their badges and his daughter in getting her young women's recognition award and also enjoyed doing temple work.

He is survived by his siblings Richard Pulham, Jane Pulham-Little, Charlie Pulham, and Sylvia Pulham Ryan, His children Jc (Trina) Pulham, Crystal Pulham, Terry (Victoria) Pulham, and Susan (John) Johnson, His grandkids Jacey Ki Pulham, Amberly Pulham, Nika Pulham, Aspen Pulham, Breanna Sikes, David Cloward, Sierra Dumas, Merik Pulham, Jayden Pulham, Kiana Pulham, and Lindsey Pulham and his great grandkids Sasha Sikes, April Sikes, Kade Dumas, and Nala Cloward.

He is preceded in death by his parents Archibald and Elma Pulham, and his sister Susan Pulham.

The family would like to thank Advanced Healthcare of Salem and Aspen Ridge Hospice for the care and support they've shown to Terry and the family.

A viewing will be held September 30, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church located at 681 East 500 North Payson, Utah. Interment with military honors will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
