Teri Richards Peck

Teri Richards Peck, 56, of Santaquin, Utah peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on December 14, 2024. Teri was relieved of pain and went to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

Teri was born on June 17, 1968 in Tremonton, Utah to Jerry Rex and Joan Daniels Richards of Fielding, Utah. Fielding would be home for Teri. She attended Fielding Elementary and Bear River High School, enjoying home economics classes, sewing, crafting, and learning new things. She especially loved her yard, gardening, plants and flowers.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has a strong testimony of the gospel and forever families. The temple has always been a place of peace and a reminder of eternal families. Teri served in many church callings in different auxiliaries. Her favorites were always primary. She enjoyed the sweet spirit of the children and music felt there.

On November 18, 1993 Teri married her sweetheart Burnie Jay Peck in the Manti, Utah Temple, joining their two small families. A few years later, they grew their family with a son and then a daughter bringing their number of children to seven. In 2004, Burnie and Teri decided to take on the adventures and challenges of Foster Care. Over the years between 2004 – 2020 they added seven more children to their growing family.

Teri is survived by her loving husband, 14 children, 25 grandchildren, her parents, 3 brothers, many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was many things, however her most important titles were Mom and Grandma or MeMa. She loved spending time with her family.

We wish to thank all of her many medical providers and the IHC hospice team. A special thanks to Dr. Henderson and Dr. Reichman for following the spirit in their decision of treatment to give us the extra years with mom, and to Tammy for the kind and special care in her last few days.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Santaquin North Stake Center, 545 North 200 East Santaquin, Utah. Viewings will be Thursday December 19th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 S. 300 E. Santaquin, and Friday from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. 

In lieu of flowers, we would ask all those who loved and admired Teri to PLEASE spend an extra hour or more with your family. Remember, we never know how much time we will have together.
