Spencer Joseph Argyle of Santaquin, Utah died February 15, 2019 in Provo, Utah due to injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 21 years old.
Spencer was a friend to all. His most important accomplishment was his character. He was always kind and never angry. He was compassionate and wanted others to feel good about themselves. He was quick to serve and to praise others. He was a hard worker and always dependable. He was honest and always wanted to do what is right. He has a pure heart. He had a loving and bright light in his eyes, especially as he talked with his loved ones or when he talked about the gospel.
He graduated from Payson High School in 2015 where he was involved in choir and played the cello in the orchestra. He also worked as a student sweeper for Payson Jr. High. He loved to read and seemed to always have a book in his hand.
He worked for two summers at Camp Maple Dell. He loved scouting and was an Eagle Scout. He loved the peace of the mountains
He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from August 2015-2017 in the Montana, Billings Mission. He loved the people he served sincerely and deeply.
He was a student at BYU Idaho where he worked on campus and planned to major in Recreation Management. He had a close relationship with his Heavenly Father and strong testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He held many callings and did his best to fulfill them.
We want to thank all his friends and mentors who were such a good influence on his life and brought him happiness. We love Spencer very much and we are so grateful for the good example he was to us all. He taught us to be a little more patient and a lot more kind.
He is survived by his parents Chad and Sheree Hansen Argyle, his siblings, Tiana, Gideon, McKay and Kelsey Argyle, his grandparents Kent and Sylvia Hansen and Junette Argyle. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Bill Argyle.
