Shirley Lamb Porter, 66, loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, passed through the veil on April 7, 2011 at her home due to an illness. She was born October 6, 1944 in Santaquin to Justin and Florence Cannon Lamb. She married L. Roger Porter August 21, 1964 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Shirley is survived by her three children, Allison Cochran, Scott Porter and Matthew (Tiffany) Porter; her four grandchildren, Kaisional and Mick-BonScott Christopherson, Nicholas and Morgan Porter; brothers, David (Dianne) Lamb, Dennis (Roxanne) Lamb; sisters, LaDean (Ed) Westover, Mona (Jerry) Woodbury; sisters-in-law, Marva (Gene) Rawlings, Minnie (John) Leyland, Diann Porter; father-in-law, Lester Roger Porter; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, his mother, Maurine Gonzales Porter and brothers, Hal and Robert Lamb.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12th at 12:00 noon at the Old Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:45 am prior to services. Interment, Santaquin Cemetery.
