Roger Tim Ricker, 67, our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend returned to his heavenly home on June 28th, 2023. He was born July 11, 1955 in Hampton Arkansas to Robert Morton Ricker and Norma Ellen Christensen Ricker. Tim loved his family, and was a dedicated husband to his wife Kimberle, and dedicated father to his children Kaleb and Mikaela, who he showed the love of and taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He served faithfully over the years with the various callings he received for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he showed Christ-like love to all who crossed his path. From a young age, Tim has always been inquisitive and loved to learn about things around him. After high school Tim joined the Air Force where he was a radio technician. This increased his interest in learning how everything works. After the Air Force, he enrolled in various colleges to pursue his career in Software Engineering, during that time he met Kimberle Fridell who he dated for a few years. On March 8th, 1996, he married his eternal companion, Kimberle, in the Jordan River Temple. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Kaleb and Mikaela, to complete their eternal family. We will miss his silly dad jokes, his funny dance moves, and the many things he did to make us laugh and smile.
Tim is survived by his wife: Kimberle Ricker, children; Kaleb Ricker and Mikaela (Zachary) Pratt, brothers Bob Ricker and Jim (Beverly) Ricker, and sister-in-law Danelle Ricker, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Ricker and mother Norma Ricker, his brothers Loye Dean Ricker, and Theodore Wayne Ricker and his niece Essa Ricker.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 3, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at the Eagle Mountain West Stake Center, 1330 Ira Hodges Scenic Parkway. Friends may greet family from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment with full military honors will follow at the Goshen Cemetery.
