Roberta “Bobbie” Louise Laguna passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her home in Eureka, Utah at the age of 75. Bobie was born August 18, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to Luis Montes and Sara Grivjalva. She spent most of her childhood in an orphanage and later got her GED.

She had two children, Veronica and Ricky. Bobbie met her husband, Ted Johnson, in New Mexico while he was working a job with Centennial Mining Company in 1989. Together they lived in Nevada, Alaska, California, and eventually made their home in Eureka, Utah.

Bobbie loved to cook and was an excellent chef. She enjoyed working for Central Utah Sheet Metal and at the Lab for the Bergen Mine. She was one of a kind and loved by everyone she crossed paths with. She had a unique gift of making people feel welcome and a friend to everyone she met. She was an animal lover and enjoyed being around all the birds, dogs, cats, and horses around her.

She is survived by her husband Ted, daughter Veronica Laguna, step-daughter Trudi L. Lingle (Richard), sister Maria Martinez, grandchildren, Victoria, Kyle Johnson, Tyson Johnson, and Jamie Stagg, nephews Raul De Hoyos, Rudy De Hoyos, Luis De Hoyos, and Adam B. (Kimberlie) Riley nieces Sonia Martinez, Shelly Riley (Harley) Stansfield. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday September 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eureka City Memorial Building, 263 Main Street Eureka, Utah.
