Riley Michael Peters “Roo” son of Angela Ashton, Dale Peters, and bonus father Gary Ashton, was born on March 6, 1989 in American Fork, Utah. Riley was such a fun loving and sweet boy. Out of all of Angela’s children, he was the biggest mommas boy. He would do anything for those he loved. Riley loved to spend time with his many brothers, and he was constantly looking for the next adventure. He loved to fish, longboard, snowboard, ride ATVs, dirtbikes, and go to concerts with his brothers and friends. He was a die hard cheese head (Packers fan). Roo had a way of brightening up any room he was in, he had this goofy and fun side to him that everybody adored. You couldn’t spend five minutes with Roo without laughing. Roo was more than we could have asked for, and he will be missed everyday.
Riley is preceded in death by Grandma Kay Howes, Grandpa Gary Ashton, Grandma Esther Ashton, and cousin AJ Peters.
Riley is survived by his loving mother Angela Ashton, father Dale Peters, and bonus father Gary Ashton. His brothers Jordan (Allie) Peters, Tristan Ashton, Kayden (Katelyn) Ashton, Micah Ashton, Nicholas Ashton, and sisters Emma Peters and Jamilyn Wray. Nephews Jamison Peters, Oliver Peters and niece Bailee Wray. Grandpa Gary Howes, Grandpa Mike Peters, and Grandma Diane Peters. He is also survived by his girlfriend Tauni Carnesecca who he loved very much.
Pallbearers Grandpa Gary Howes, Jordan Peters, Tristan Ashton, Kayden Ashton, Micah Ashton, and Nicholas Ashton. Honorary pallbearers are Jamison Peters and Oliver Peters.
The family would like to thank all of the generous, kind, caring, and loving friends and family who have reached out to offer their comfort and condolences at this tough time. It is greatly appreciated. Also, thank you to the Brown Family Mortuary for providing the funeral services.
A Go Fund Me has been set up to help with the cost. We would greatly appreciate any help people can provide for the services. https://www.gofundme.com/f/riley-peters
