Pauline Okelberry

Pauline Argyle Okelberry, age 88 of Goshen, passed away peacefully in her sleep December 27, 2014 in Bountiful.  She was born June 7, 1926 in Payson to Claude Viron and Mary Ellen Fillmore Argyle.  She married Roy Lee Okelberry December 20, 1946 in Goshen.  He passed away September 14, 2011.

Pauline graduated from the Cadet’s Nurses Corp in 1947 and devoted her life to nursing.  She worked as a Registered Nurse in Nephi and Payson retiring after 50 years.

She is survived by a brother, Claude “Corky” Argyle; children, Mary Lee (Dave) Lowe, Patricia (James) Hunter, Alesia (William) Heaps, John Roy Okelberry, Valina K. Okelberry; 19 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, JEanne Lofgran, a grandson, William Garrett Heaps and a great grandson, Michael Retzloff.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 31st at 11:00 am at the Goshen LDS Chapel, 75 South Center.  Friends may call at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Tuesday 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am.  Burial, Goshen City Cemetery.
