Paul Helmandollar, 76, died on Friday, March 24, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 5, 1947 in Montpelier, Idaho to Ralph and Gladys Hillman Helmandollar.
Paul married Pamela Rash on August 7, 1970. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple. They have four children: Jennifer (Matt) Reid, Charity (West) Zollinger, Cameron Paul, and Brooke (Jed) Archibald. Paul was blessed with nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Paul worked for Utah Power and Light (PacifiCorp/Rocky Mountain Power) for 36 years. Throughout his career he was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union. Paul enjoyed the outdoors and loved any activity that involved a ball field, a golf course, a fishing stream or lake, and white water. He taught his family to love the outdoors and to love each other. Nothing was more important to Paul than creating and sharing lasting memories with those he loved.
Our family would like to thank the staff at Mountain Point Hospital for their high level of care and compassion. They went above and beyond their job descriptions while taking care of Paul. They are our heroes.
