Norma Ellen Christensen Ricker, 83, our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, returned to her Heavenly home on February 5, 2014.  She was born January 25, 1931 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Peter Herman and Lucy Ellen Moon Christensen.  She married Robert Morton Ricker and they later divorced.

Mom loved her family and was a dedicated mother, and taught her children the gospel of Jesus Christ which was always close to her heart.  She served faithfully in Primary throughout her life.  She so loved children.  She served a mission in the Dallas Texas Temple 1993-94.  Her faith never wavered even when the odds were against her.  Mom enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, ceramic painting and kept an immaculate home.

She is survived by her children: Robert Lee Ricker, R. Tim (Kimberle) Ricker, James Keith (Beverly) Ricker, Loye Dean (Danelle) Ricker; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Galene Martin and Mary Lou Slocum.  She was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Wayne, a granddaughter, Essa Matisse Ricker, siblings, Betty Rae Christensen, Herman Lee Christensen, Leona Dobbs, Randall Paul Christensen and Lottie Brown Minnick

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 8th at 11:00 am at the Goshen LDS Chapel where friends may call one hour prior to services.  Interment, Goshen City Cemetery under the direction of Brown Family Mortuary, Santaquin.
