Murray Wallace Kemper was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri April 25, 1919. As he looked into his mother's eyes she knew he was something special. He stood tall for Jesus as an ordained minister. He started three Church's for Christ in Brigham City, Provo and Santaquin. To his brothers and sisters he was an anchor, prayer warrior and counselor. To his children and grandchildren he was a confidant, fisherman, hunter and friend. To his wife he was sweetheart and friend and October 9, 2010 he kissed her goodbye and on June 18, 2011 she came with Jesus and kissed him home.

He was born to John William and Iza Rovella Dempsey Kemper. He met and married Shirley LaRay Curtis and they had seven children; Shirley (Robert) Tidball, Washington; Barbara (Rafael) Bedolla, Santaquin; Earlene (Dan) Ligon, Niger, West Africa; Ron (June) Kemper, Santaquin; Becky (Scott) Ewell, Tremonton; Sandy (Keith) Markham, Tremonton; Wendy (Nolan) Jensen, Santaquin. He has 29 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, William Kemper, and a sister, Martha Parks.
