Molimau Tupai, 78, son of Sosi Vaililigi Tupai and Pafuti Simo Tupai, born in American Samoa in 1944, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. Moli or ‘Mo’ as he was known to his friends was a loving father, grandfather, and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He died in his home in Santaquin, Utah surrounded by those he loved.
He is survived by his 5 children: Kathilynn Leilani Buckley, Miniolefautaua Teresa Tupai, Losa Christie McCoy, Matamatafua Rodney Tupai, and Lolousi Lisa Bench, their spouses, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Faleosina Tupai, and his two brothers, Mose Tailiaifiti Tupai, and Pisaina Tupai.
Moli worked for the Church for many years in the bindery of the Family History Library preserving records while running his own book repair shop with his then wife, Tamara Palmer. He spent his retired years with his eldest daughter Kathilynn and her family.
He loved many and was loved by many in return. He was known for choosing to see the good in everyone and cherishing them with genuine love. He was a faithful member of the Church and will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and his beautiful prayers.

The viewing will be Friday, September 23, 2022 at Brown Family Mortuary from 9:00 am-10:00 am. A small graveside service will be held at Santaquin Cemetery in Santaquin, Utah at 11:00 am.
