Michael Jesse Poulson

Michael Jesse Poulson, age 79, passed away May 25, 2023 in Nephi, Utah. He was born November 30, 1943 in Richfield, Utah to Jesse W. and Margaret L. Monroe Poulson the sixth of seven children.

Mike's childhood was spent in Richfield, Utah. As a young man he went to live and work for Reed McMullin on his farm in Genola. Later he went to live and work in the orchards of Genola and West Mountain for McMullin Orchards.

Mike was a craftsman and took great pride in his work, whether he was building fruit bins or dog houses. It was a rare occasion to find Mike without a tool in his hand. He enjoyed old western movies, German chocolate cake, candy and pop.

He is survived by his brother Andrew Poulson, Nephi.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Willard (Peggy) Poulson, Ray Poulson, and sisters; Margaret, Nola (Glenn) Johnson, and Shirley (Dwight) Acree.

Graveside services were held Wednesday May 31, 2023 at the Genola City Cemetery.
