Melissa “Melvin” Sandoval, 28, passed away July 17, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born June 21, 1980 in Tooele, Utah to Tomas Francisco Sandoval and Maria Juanita Garza.
Melissa was the center and foundation of her family. She spent a lot of time playing games and having barbeques with her family and friends. She was everyone’s best friend, an outstanding cook and loved helping others. She enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR (Dale Jr.) and car shows. She will be greatly missed.
Melissa is survived by her sisters and brother, Lillian (Wayne) Vallejos, Miguel (Jackie) Sandoval, both of Tooele, Mimi Sandoval, Janet Sandoval, Adrianna Garza, all of Santaquin; a nephew, Antonio Parker and a niece, Karmen Sandoval, and ten other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 25th at 11:00 am at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, where family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30 to 11:00 am prior to the services. Burial will be in the Santaquin Cemetery.
