Maureen Nieto

Maureen Docherty Nieto, 72, passed away January 4, 2020 in Payson, Utah. She was born September 8, 1947 in Nephi to Joseph John and Melva Warner Docherty. She married William Partridge August 21, 1965 and were sealed in the Provo LDS Temple March 30, 1974. After William passed away she married Alfredo Nieto and they later divorced.

Maureen enjoyed crocheting and was active with the senior citizens. She loved camping, fishing and the outdoors. She liked to go shopping and riding around town with Lila. She served many church leadership callings.

She cherished her family and loved to spend quality time with each of them.

She is survived by her children Carolyn & Cindy Partridge, Mario & Misty Nieto, and Tony and Iris Nieto; grandchildren Samantha, J.W., Tyler, Kaitlin, Kassidy, McKade, Selena, AnaLee, Alex, Zoey, Jasmine, Eva, Adaline, and John Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband William Partridge, parents Joseph and Melva Docherty, brother Michael Docherty, grandsons Shane and Shawn, and her lifelong best friend Lila Steele.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Goshen LDS Church, 75 S Center Street. A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin. Interment, Goshen City Cemetery.
