Matthew Benard Hansen (Matt), age 43, joined his mother, LaRayne Hansen, in heaven unexpectedly December 29, 2013. He was born December 31, 1969 in Payson, Utah to Lee Ray and LaRayne Devenish Hansen.
Matt had a deep passion for the outdoors and camping. He would never turn down a chance to get out and enjoy nature and loved taking Ma out to enjoy all of their favorite camping places. He dedicated his life to care for his mother which never went unappreciated, especially by Ma. They were always together working on crafts, playing cards, or just watching TV. He had a very big heart and a warming smile. Many people who knew Matt knows he was a giant teddy bear. Matt had a lot of family and friends who deeply cared for him. He is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his puppies Kujo and Dexter. They will miss their daddy very much.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
