Mark Neal Ewell

Mark Neal Ewell was born July 31, 1973, to Neal and Sherie Ewell in Provo Utah. He spent most of his childhood on the family farm in Genola, Utah and graduated from Payson High School in 1991. He served a two-year mission for Jesus Christ in Italy, and then attended Snow College but graduated from Utah State University in 2007. He met the love of his life Wendy Warner Ewell that same year and were married in the Manti Temple for time and all eternity in 2008. The couple lived in Price, working for the Federal Government doing Range Land Management. They later moved to Vernal and then to Roosevelt in 2019. Mark's work was just a means to an income so that he could support what he really loved; his family. Mark took Wendy's two sons, Carter, and Jacob Shupe, under his care from the minute they were a family. He loved them as he his own. Wendy and Mark had 3 more children together with one little girl leaving the family at birth. I can picture Mark embracing his daughter Mauri, today in heaven. Mark adored his oldest daughter Emma 14 and Warner 11. He would fix them a hot breakfast and then walk them to school every day until they graduated from elementary school. He spent all his time making his family happy. Mark loved to fish and enjoyed many family vacations at Fish Lake with his siblings. He also loved going to Lake Powell but only because Wendy loved it. He did get up on a ski board once but would rather sit on the jet ski with his fishing rod. Mark had a firm testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived his belief. He was kind to everyone but especially the little children.  

Mark is survived by his wife Wendy Warner Ewell, daughter Emma, son Warner Mark Ewell, two step sons Carter and Jacob Shupe, parents Neal and Sherie Ewell, his siblings: Sheral Theuson (Damon), Thomas Ewell (Brenda), Emmale Koyle, Nathan Ewell (Stephanie), Andrew Ewell (Micah),his in-laws: Michael and Connie Warner, Jared and Jenny Bunch, Kristie and Kory Smith, J. Dustin and Katie Warner, Ryan and Dani Warner, Jessie and Jeff Thomson, Cory and Elise Warner along with  52 nieces and nephews.
