Marilyn Mickley

Marilyn Theresa Mickley, age 75 of Santaquin, passed away at home on December 13, 2024. She was born December 27, 1948 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Charles John and Elizabeth Theresa Schadewald Cleerdin.

Marilyn served in the US Navy from 1970 – 1993. During her naval career she was a dental technician. She later went on to become a Religious Program Specialist with the Navy Chaplains office for the last half of her military career. After her retirement, she went back into the dental field and found a new passion for teaching dental assisting at a vocational college in San Diego, California and retired in 2008.

She was a talented artist and photographer who loved painting, gardening and collecting things. Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by so many family and friends.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter Theresa (Norman) Tanguay; grandchildren Ashley (Steven) Bostick, Kristen (Jacob) Poulson, Joseph Tanguay, Valerie Tanguay; great-grandchildren Serenity Bostick, Colt Bostick, and Scout Poulson; brother Kennith Cleerdin and a sister Susan Cleerdin.
