Maretta Brown

Maretta Penrod Brown, born December 14, 1940, courageously returned home to her Father in Heaven October 10, 2007 after a long battle with illness. There is not enough time or paper to say just how many great things she did for us, as well as many others. Mom struggled with a kidney disorder for the past two and a half years. We were so lucky to bring her home to Santaquin and enjoy her for the past year and a half. She was able to spend all the time she could with her grandkids. We will truly miss you Mom! She is survived by her sisters and brothers, one son, Scott (Tracy) Brown and 3 wonderful grandchildren, Jakenzie Lynn, Dannel Scott, and Mattie Lee Brown of Santaquin. She spoiled them every day! We would like to send a special thanks to all her friends and nurses at Davita Dialysis, Intermountain Hospice Care, and all of the other loving friends, neighbors and ward members who helped her enjoy life. Oh - and Mom...we love you to the end of the numbers. Friends may call at the Holladay Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Santaquin City Cemetery.
