On Thursday, November 14, 2013 Lyle J. Cooper age 75, our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather died from organ failure in Evanston, Wyoming while on a delightful drive with a dear friend.
Lyle was born January 4, 1938 in Genola, Utah to his loving parents, Albert Vivean and Lola Vernell Draper Cooper. He was the sixth child in their family of eleven children. He married his beloved sweetheart Carol Brown Cooper on November 23, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Lyle and Carol are the parents of six wonderful children, Michelle, Cheris, Cameron, Tyler, Leslee (Deceased) and Landon. He had 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and was a father to 18 foster children all of whom he loved dearly.
The viewing and funeral for family and friends will be held at the Cascade First Ward Chapel located at 481 East Center Street in Orem on Tuesday evening November 19, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm. A second viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 am Wednesday morning followed by the funeral which will begin promptly at 11:00 am November 20, 2013. Lyle will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Carol Cooper (who passed away on September 4, 2013) and daughter Leslee in the Orem City Cemetery.
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude for the flowers, food, kindly notes and expressions of love to all those who helped in any way in making this such a rich and sacred experience.
