Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Lucille Hansen Painter Ashworth, passed away January 18, 2013 at the home where she and her husband, Rulon, raised their six children in Santaquin, Utah.

Lucille was born to Thomas and Sarah Rowbury Hansen May 27,1925 in Fountain Green, Utah. She was welcomed into a family full of love that included her four brothers, Earl, Lane, Arthur, her twin Lewis, whom she adored, and her two sisters, Ruth and Donetta.

On January 21, 1944 she married Rulon Jack Painter. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they had six beautiful children; Jack Painter (Sheila), Carol Webber (Ken), Ellen Bullock (Jim), Pat Hunter, Kenneth Painter (Tina), and her "Baby" Douglas Painter (Janette). Rulon passed away July 5, 1980. She later married Bill Ashworth who also preceded her in death.

Lucille was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she held positions in many auxiliaries and served in the Provo LDS Temple for many years. She enjoyed and spent many hours crocheting doilies and baby afghans for all she knew.

Lucille is survived by her daughters, Ellen and Patricia (both of Santaquin), and her sons, Kenneth (Payson) and Douglas (Spanish Fork), 20 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is welcomed with open arms into Heaven by her parents, brothers and sisters, son Jack, daughter Carol, grandson Cody, and great granddaughter Faith.

We will miss your bright eyes, wide smile and your witty personality. All through your trials you never lost sight of life. You set forth an amazing example of love and an extraordinary legacy.

We love you Grandma Lucy!

A special thanks to Sunrise Hospice, Holly, Jody, Angela, Dr. LeRoy and Dr. Gary Miller.
