LouRita Stilson Steele, 74, passed away peacefully December 26, 2008 in Payson, Utah. She was born June 29, 1934 at Cleveland, Utah to Orson Doyle and Roxcille Christensen Stilson. She married Leonard Eugene Steele July 12, 1950 and together they have six children. LouRita was raised in Springville. She loved to crochet, making dolls and clothes and afternoon drives with her husband. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and looked forward to their visits. LouRita suffered with Alzheimers the past five years and her loving husband was her full-time caretaker. She is survived by her husband, Leonard, of Goshen, children, LouAnn Smith of Orem, Larry Steele of Provo, Karen (Joe) Vigil of Neola, Joyce (David) Lant of Spanish Fork, Cindy (John) Bartlett of Las Vegas, Jeff (Bonnie) Steele of Magna; 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; siblings, Orson (Mariam) Stilson, Judy (Jim) Hill, and Donna (Nathan) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Gene Stilson, a sister Patsy Olson, a granddaughter, Melanie Young, and a grandson Bart Ryan. The family would like to thank the hospice nurses, Dr. Robert Clark and the Mountain View Hospital administration and staff for all of their care and kindness. Services will be held Tuesday, December 30th at 1:00 pm at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial, Goshen Cemetery.
