Lily Okelberry Hudson, age 80, died August 17, 2007 in Payson. She was born January 15, 1927 in Goshen, Utah to Earl C. and Gwendolyn Werrett Okelberry. She married Rodney (Duke) Hudson July 18, 1945 in the Manti LDS Temple. Lily lived a full life working as a lunch lady for 21 years, serving in her church callings, and associating with her club friends. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved working with porcelain. She loved her family very much and made beautiful dresses and dolls for her daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters. She especially enjoyed Sunday night visits from her family. Lily is survived by her husband; children, Tom & Sue Hudson, Payson, Lynette & Ed Neff, Trina & Ron Ellis, Santaquin, Bill & Kim Hudson, Spanish Fork, Roger & Carol Hudson, Clarkston, Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucile Ainge, Eva Pearl Stoneman, and a brother, David Okelberry. She was preceded in death by brothers, Earl and William, a sister, Mary, and a grandson, Matthew. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the Old Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East, where friends may call on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 11:45 to 12:45 prior to services. Burial, Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, Santaquin.
