Lila Stansfield

Lila Mabel Finch Stansfield, age 94, was born in Goshen, Utah to Joseph William and Laura Mabel Peterson Finch on September 27, 1923. She passed away at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah on June 27, 2018.

She married William Boyd Stansfield on March 9, 1946 in Goshen, Utah where they raised their family.  They were the proud parents of five children: Cynthia Lee (Deceased), Vickie (Craig) Smith, Claudia (Thurman) Ashburn, William Boyd Stansfield Jr. and Joseph Stansfield. She is survived by her 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Ira (Lavern) Finch, Nadine (Kly) Muder, her husband and precious 3 year old daughter.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 11:00 am in the Goshen City Cemetery. The family would like to express a special thank you to Korin, Clark, Dr. David Bennion, Dr. Garry Miller, Dr. Kevin Colver, Canyon Home Health, Encompass Hospice and Mountain View Hospital. In lieu of flowers, Lila would prefer donations be made to the Goshen Elementary School.
