Leah Garbett

March 27, 1939 — December 11, 2019

Leah Ruth Stubblefield Garbett, age 80 of Eureka Utah, passed away peacefully at Parkway Health in Payson Utah. Leah was born March 27, 1939 to Orvil Edward and Norma Leah Stubblefield in Spanish Fork Utah.

In 1945 Orvil was killed in a mining accident in Sunny Side Utah. Norma later married Charles Wesley Brackenbury Jr. On October 15, 1955 Leah married Max Garbett in Spanish Fork Utah. They had two children, Steven Michael and Teresa Lynn.

Leah was an excellent cook and wanted to feed everyone all the time. She was proficient at crocheting. She was a very good mother and grandmother.

Leah is survived by her daughter Teresa (Evans) Long, daughter in law Pat Garbett, brother Dan (Karen) Stubblefield, brother Chuck Brackenbury, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. Leah was preceded in death by her parents Orvil and Norma Stubblefield, Charles Wesley Brackenbury Jr., her husband Max Garbett, her son Steven Garbett and sister Norma (Toodles) Looney.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband Monday December 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Eureka City Cemetery.
