Kirsten Quigley

Kirsten Cameron Quigley, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend passed away at her home in Santaquin on March 6, 2023 at the age of 32.  She is the daughter of Max J Cameron and Kimberly Cook Cameron of Payson, Utah.  She is the youngest of their three children.

Kirsten graduated from Payson High School and attended the Mountainland Technical College (MATC) during her senior year, completing the Cosmetology program and obtaining her license.  She worked as a beautician for a time and really enjoyed the experience. Kirsten also worked at Smith’s grocery store in Payson, where she was first employed at the age of 16.  She eventually became the head Scanning Coordinator.  Kirsten loved her job and the people she worked with.  She was a people person and enjoyed interacting with co-workers and customers each day.  Many customers knew her and would stop in their shopping to talk with her as she worked her way through the aisles doing her tasks.  She took pride in her work and was complimented for it many times throughout the years. She was employed full time, enjoying her career over the span of 16 years.

Kirsten married her high school sweetheart Jason James Quigley on October 27, 2012. They chose to live in Santaquin and have resided there for ten years.  They have two amazing sons, Cameron James (age 5), and Richard Grant (age 2).

Kirsten was a strong and beautiful woman. She loved her family with her whole heart. Her bright blue eyes and radiant smile always lit up the room.  Kirsten loved to enjoy nature with her family and friends.  She loved to invent creative projects to do with her children. Nothing was more important to her than nourishing her children with her immense love and creativity. Family was the center of her life and her highest priority.  Kirsten was fiercely loyal and kind. She always had a strong wit, a unique intelligence, and a very contagious sense of humor.  She will always be remembered for the happiness she brought to those around her at work, home, and family gatherings.

Kirsten is survived by her husband, Jason James Quigley, two sons, Cameron James and Richard Grant, parents, Max J Cameron and Kimberly Cook Cameron, siblings, Camille Cameron Smith and Tyler Cameron (Tara), four nieces and nephews on her side of the family, eleven in-laws with twelve more nieces and nephews on Jason’s side of the family.  She is very loved and will be missed by all.  She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Jesse Thomas Smith.

A viewing will be held at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 S 300 E, Santaquin on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Funeral services will be held in her honor on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS chapel located at 345 W 100 N Santaquin. Prior to the funeral, family and friends may gather for a viewing at the church between 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow at the Santaquin City Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks and appreciation to all that have reached out to help, support, and given expressions of love and service to Jason and his sons.
