Kevin Richard Brailsford

Kevin Richard Brailsford returned to the arms of his Savior November 4th, 2022.

Kevin loved the outdoors and loved cars. If he wasn’t up the mountains he was helping his friends with their cars. Kevin went to Payson high school where he fell in love with cars and trucks. Kevin had the biggest heart and an even bigger smile! His laugh was beyond contagious and was something that brought joy to many people around him.

Kevin loved working with his hands whether it was fixing things around the house or building rockets with his dad. Kevin loved animals of all kinds and they had a kindred spirit between each other. Whether it was birds or dogs, Kevin loved all animals. Kevin loved the outdoors whether it was the mountains of Utah or the beaches in Hawaii, the outdoors was Kevin’s favorite place to be. He also enjoyed talking to any Veterans wherever he could find one to tell their stories.

Kevin will be missed by many, but the lives he touched by his immense love will be felt by many more. An obituary for a 22-year-old son unfortunately will not take up much room here on earth, but I am sure his legacy and things accomplished from here on in will fill many books.

Kevin is preceded in death by his mother Carole Smith Brailsford, his sister Marisa Brailsford, grandmother Marion Hulce Smith, grandfather Harold Smith, and grandfather Gary Brailsford. He is survived by his grandmother Carolyn Adamson, father Richard Brailsford, his brother Derrick Brailsford (Ashley), his sister Megan Ringger (Christopher Ringger), his adopted sister/ niece Quinnley Sofia Brailsford, and nephew Ethan (Bubby) Ringger.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East in Santaquin, Utah.  Funeral Services to celebrate Kevin's life will be held Friday November 11^th at 11:00 a.m. at the Santaquin 19^th Ward, 350 West 860 North with a viewing from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. prior to services.  Since this day is also Veterans Day and there are no services other than to respect our Veterans, interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery Saturday, November 12^th for the family members.
