Kent Christensen

January 7, 1941 — November 15, 2019

Kent William Christensen our wonderful husband, father, brother and friend, passed away peacefully November 15, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long, courageous battle and never gave up. He was a gentle man with a great sense of humor, a man who always had a smile for everyone.

He was born January 7, 1941 to Myron and Dee Christensen, in Genola Utah. He graduated from Payson High School and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from ITT. He retired from Waxie Sanitary Supply where he was their Machine Specialist and Sales Representative. He was loved and will be missed by many friends.

Kent was a member of REACT radio club, and helped in search and rescue operations. He was an avid prospector and outdoorsman, happiest when traveling in his motorhome. He always took the road less traveled so he could explore new places. But most of all he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, his first wife Sallie Featherstone (divorced) and four children;  Bruce (Kim) Christensen, Todd Quinn Christensen, Vickie Ann (Brett) Kee and Paige William (Carissa) Christensen;  eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday November 23, 2019 at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East Santaquin Utah at 12:00 p.m. where friends may call one hour prior to the services.

A very special ‘Thank You’ to all of the great people at Provo Rehabilitation and Utah Valley Hospital for all the love and kind care you gave him. We will forever be grateful.
