Kendal Stokes

Kendal Robert Stokes passed away unexpectedly at the age of 31 on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born in Provo, Utah on March 15, 1982 to Robert Lynn and Kathryn Ivory Stokes. He graduated from Springville High in 2000.

Kendal will be remembered for his kind heart, loving personality, non-judgmental spirit and positive outlook. He had a passion for the outdoors and was always ready to catch a fish. Being a father to his boys was the joy of his life.

He is survived by his parents, son, Jamison and Brianna, mother of his boys; his sisters, Natalie (Justin), Rebecca (Cory), Emily (Ryan), Jaclyn (Adam), and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kendal will be missed by his friends and family, but reunited with his son, Paxton, loving grandparents and many loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9th at 11:00 am at the Lone Tree 1st Ward, 1953 Lone Tree Parkway in Eagle Mountain. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville and again on Friday at the church in Eagle Mountain from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to services. Interment, Springville Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family can be made in Kendal's name at any America First Credit Union.
