Kanda Oberg, 44, of Salem, passed away January 3, 2007 after a courageous battle from a lingering illness. She was born November 11, 1962 to Robert and Willetta Oberg in Payson. Kanda grew up in Genola and graduated from Payson High School in 1981. She married Gary Logan and they later divorced. Kanda was a wonderful cook and loved sewing. She was a loving, caring person and was always willing to serve others. She enjoyed working at Walmart and always brought a smile to everyone around her. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandson. She is survived by her four children, Judy, Casey, Trevor and Kolby, all of Salem, grandson, Weston, her parents, Robert and Willetta Oberg of Santaquin, brothers, Craig (Diane), of Ephraim, Blaine (Laura), of Santaquin, Keven (Karen), of Provo, Daren (Brenda), of Genola, sister, Shae (Bart) Walker, of Payson. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and associates. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and staff at Mt. View Hospital ICU for their loving care. Funeral services will be Monday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the Santaquin Stake Center, 45 South 500 West. Friends and family may call at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Santaquin City Cemetery.
