June Pack

Reba June Dunsdon Pack was born June 30, 1933 in her parents home in Alpine, Utah, to Garnett and Reba Dunsdon. She passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022. She was the youngest of five children: Ellen Pack, Mary Wright, Alta Chamberlain and Faye Klienman. She was raised in Alpine, Utah and spent her young life on the family farm. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1951. Before her passing she was on a very short list of classmates that remain from her senior class.

While delivering flowers to the home of her sisters’ in-law in Manila, she met her future husband, LaVon Pack. They were married on November 21, 1953. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. The young couple moved to California and then back to Utah several times before settling in Whittier, California in 1966. They moved back to Manila Utah in 1976. They are the parents of four children Janice Barker deceased (Bryson), Lynn (Janice) Pack, Julie (Greg) Lewis and Mary Pack, 19 grandchildren, and 57 great grandchildren.

June was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as a full time missionary in the England, Manchester mission and also as an ordinance worker in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple for twenty years.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband LaVon, her oldest daughter Janice and three granddaughters Amber Neilson, Lynnette Pack and Kara Pack.

A viewing will be held on Friday March 25, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday morning 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Cascade Stake Center, 481 East Center, Orem, Utah. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at the same location.
