Joseph Noel Rogers, Jr, peacefully passed away on June 27, 2022 at Riverton Hospital. Joe was born September 19, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph and Hilde Hausman Rogers.
Joe loved people as well as his many dogs and cats together with his enjoyment of his electric miniature train hobby he had for many years. He was also a hockey fan since his birth as his father was influential in the early Utah hockey program.
Joe attended Glendale Elementary School, Glendale Jr. High and South High in Salt Lake City. He was employed by Ken Garff Oldsmobile as well as the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City for many years. Joe was continuously employed throughout his life due to his exceptional job performance and reliability. He was well thought of by his co-workers for his work ethic and affability.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Dawson Rogers, who recently passed away. He is survived by his son, Joe and wife Jennica Rogers and granddaughter, Kaley Rogers, as well as his brother, Doug and wife Stephanie Rogers.
The family would like to express their warm thanks and appreciation to Brighton House for their compassionate care of Joe during his illness.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Santaquin City Cemetery. A viewing will be prior to services at Brown Family Mortuary from 10:00 - 10:45.
