Jill Barrow Brown Voelkl was born in Phoenix, Arizona December 23, 1948 to loving parents, William B Barrow and Mary Elizabeth Webb. She graduated from Tempe High School and attended Mesa Community College. She also lived in Utah and several other states from Hawaii to New York. Her last place of residence was divided between Utah and New York. The last three precious years Jill battled ovarian cancer peacefully passing into the next life October 31, 2014. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother and sister.
Jill was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She faithfully served in many roles throughout her life. Throughout her life she had various professional secretarial administrative roles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John and Joe Barrow, sister-in-law, Leona Barrow, and a great grandchild, Rowan Tucker. Jill is survived by her sisters, Jeanette (Ray) Dover, Janie (Albert) Murdock and sister-in-law, Francis Barrow. She is survived by her 7 children; Tracy (Kendall) Hansen, Holly (Bill) Wagner, Larry Brown II, Jennifer (Paul) Wilson, Toni (Troy) Monson, Benjamin (Kristin) Brown, and Suzi (Kevin) Woodworth; along with her first husband, Larry Brown, and her second husband, Charles Voelkl.
Jill was also a loving grandmother never forgetting a birthday wish. She had 28 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren for whom she had no greater love. She also cherished and loved her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel at 1486 East 130 No. Spanish Fork where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at the Santaquin Cemetery under the direction of Brown Family Mortuary, Santaquin.
