Gerald M "Jerry" Broadhead grew up in the Heber Valley. He loved to dance with the girls and play country music with his friend Bob Muir. They played at many venues and clubs around Wasatch and Summit Counties. He enjoyed singing with his nephews , Val and Keith Broadhead, at assisted living centers in Uintah and Utah counties. He was quite the entertainer.
He was a very skilled and sought-after semi-truck driver and made a 30-year career moving live stock for Webb Brothers Trucking, and Long-Haul Flatbed Hauling for Ray Bethers Trucking. He also drove for many companies that were in need of drivers.
Jerry was a fun-loving person and loved to be around people. He was always the life of any party. He could make friends with just about anybody.
He is survived by his son, Arnold (Andrea) Miller, Sister in Law Holly Broadhead Peterson, Brother in Law Gordon Gines, niece Lori Smith (who spent the last few years caring for him). Stepsons: Jack (Pattie) Muir , Terry (Carlene) Muir, Bill (Alisa) Muir and Larry (Kathy) Muir. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and one great-grandson on the way.
