Jaunetta May Walker Helbing died Saturday morning at 1:10 a.m. on January 13, 2007. Her loving heart stopped pumping after 90 years. She was born on May 11, 1916 in Hannibal, Missouri to John N. and Jessie M. Binger Walker. Preceding her in death were her parents and siblings, Orville Walker and Virginia M. Jasper. Jaunetta married E. Lynn Helbing, Sr. on 11 May 1934. On the following August she was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mississippi River. In 1947 the family moved to San Bernardino, California where they lived until 1973 when Lynn (Bing) built their current home in Payson. "Neet" was an avid genealogist and spent much of her time searching for family records and helping others find their lost relatives. She served for many years in the Provo Temple Baptistry. She loved people and would help anyone with anything anyone asked of her. She loved the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and knew of its reality. Jaunetta is survived by her husband, Ernest Lynn Helbing, Sr.; a son, Ernest Lynn Helbing, Jr. of Chino, California; and a daughter, Marilyn L. Reynolds of Provo, Utah. She has seven grand children: Shari Gray, Shauna Barley, Scott Helbing, Jeffrey Reynolds, Tani Anderson, Teri Kocherhans, and Julie Savage. She has also been blessed with twenty great-grand children. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Payson West Stake Center, 780 W 500 So. where friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial, Payson City Cemetery under the direction of Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, Santaquin.
