Ila Fay Law Bylund Gillies, 93, passed away January 18, 2015 in Bountiful. She was born March 17, 1921 in Glenwoodville, Alberta, Canada to Jordan Albert and Jessie Letisha Clark Law.
Ila was a talented seamstress and homemaker. She was generous and loving to everyone. A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings through the years. She will be missed but always remembered.
Survived by children: Merrill C. Bylund (June); Max H. Bylund (Laura); Maureen Bylund; Marilyn G. Sanders (Carla); Richard A. Gillies (Jodie); and Beverly Oesterreich (Gary). Also survived by a brother, Jordan A. Law., Jr. (Lynne). She was preceded in death by husbands Henry Creed Bylund and Bernell M. Gillies.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Life Care Center of Bountiful for their kind and loving care.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 23rd at 2:00 pm at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 So. 300 East, Santaquin, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Santaquin City Cemetery.
