Henry A. Wall, age 91, passed away peacefully April 4, 2008 in Payson, Utah. He was born September 26, 1916 in Eureka, Utah to Henry Earl and Della Fields Wall. He married Faye Hone May 25, 1937 in Nephi, Utah. Faye preceded him in death June 14, 1995 after 58 years of marriage. Henry worked in the mines and as a Warehouse Superintendent at Kennecott Copper. He was a member of the BPOE Tintic Lodge 711 and served as Secretary for 17 years. He was also a member of the Eureka Volunteer Fire Department and United Steel Workers Union #849 where he also served as Secretary. He was a charter member and secretary of the Firebird's Motorcycle Club for over 35 years. Henry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting and anything that would take him to the mountains or desert. He was a master craftsman and made beautiful wood gun stocks. He is survived by a daughter and two sons, Deanna (Kay) Sorensen, Donald H. (Noel) Wall, Carl (Helen) Wall, all of Eureka; 6 grandchildren, 17 grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lela Wilson, and two brothers, Edward and Eugene Wall. There will be a gathering for family and friends at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, on Friday, April 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services under the direction of the Tintic Elks Lodge will be Saturday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the Eureka City Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff, past and present, at Payson Nursing and Rehab for their loving care.
