Helen Ruth Topham Butler, 94, died Friday, February 9, 2018 of causes incident to age. She was born in Santaquin on November 23, 1923 to John Wesley Topham and Mrettie Jameson. She married Heber Dale Butler, June 8, 1942 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Helen worked as a cook and lunch lady. Her most important job was as a mother and housewife. She held many positions in the LDS Church. She also enjoyed camping with the Good Sams and spending many winter months in Quartzite, AZ.
Helen is survived by one son, Robert Dee Butler (Julie) Payson, one daughter, Lynette Butler Jolley of Santaquin, and a daughter-in-law Eileen Butler of Spanish Fork. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Lyle Topham (Beth) of Santaquin and a sister Leora Topham Belliston of Richland, WA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Heber Dale Butler, son Larry Dale Butler, daughter Mretta Ann Hall and a grandson Robert John Butler. Also preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters; Bessie Robbins, Dwayne Robbins, Rhoda Robbins, Arthella Robbins, Afton Robbins, Mayola Robbins, Denton Topham, Norman Topham.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17th at 11:00 am at the Santaquin Downtown Church, 90 S. 200 E. A viewing will be held Friday at the Brown Family Mortuary 66 South 300 East in Santaquin from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Interment, Santaquin Cemetery.
