Geraldine Jewett

Geraldine Tanner Jewett passed away peacefully at home on January 21, 2022. She was born June 17, 1929 in Payson, Utah. She married Earl LeRoy Jewett in the Idaho Falls Temple September 4, 1947.

Geraldine had a very adventurous life  married to Roy. He kept her moving from  place to place and state to state. She made friends wherever she was. One of her favorite adventures was being part of a motorcycle club. She also enjoyed getting together with the ladies in her quilt club. Somehow in her spare time she managed to raise four children. She held several callings in the LDS Church. She could do it all. She was a loving and kind mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Geraldine is survived by her children, Rebecca (Richard) Kay, Kempner TX; Steven (Dorothy) Jewett, West Mountain, UT; Neal (Paula) Jewett, Salem UT; Carollee (Kirk) King, Santaquin, UT; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy and three grandsons.

Graveside services for family and friends will be held Friday, January  28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Payson City Cemetery.
