George Lewis Fridell

George Lewis Fridell of Goshen, Utah passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the age of 90. George was born on September 09, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas. He was later adopted by Boyd and Ada Fridell of Robinson, Kansas. George married the love of his life, Sharron Carlson on April 21, 1961 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the proud parents of five children, Kimberle, Randon, Lewis, Ward, and Kristie. George and Sharron started their family on a farm in Hiawatha Kansas. In 1979 they moved their family to Elberta, Utah where George helped to establish and manage the Elberta feed lot for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After their children were raised, George, Sharron and Kristie moved to Leeds, Utah where George worked at the Bishops Storehouse and cannery until he retired in 2002. In 2012 George, Sharron and Kristie made the move back to Goshen, Utah to be closer to family. George lived a life of service and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in many church callings including Bishop, Branch President, Boy Scouts, and was a dedicated Temple worker. George taught us the value of working hard and serving others. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He loved us all unconditionally and will be greatly missed.

George is survived by his five children Kimberle Ricker, Eagle Mountain, Utah; Randon (Teresa), Goshen, Utah; Lewis (Marcia), Goshen, Utah; Ward (Kim), Goshen, Utah; Kristie Fridell, Payson, Utah. His 11 grandchildren, Jessica (Preston) Hurst, Corbin (Ari) Fridell, Trevor (Kaydee) Fridell, Shelbey (Kurt) Cannon, Whitney (Andrea) Briggs, Traven (Milena) Fridell, Kaleb Ricker, Dylan (Maddie) Lutz, Mikaela (Zach) Pratt, Bailey (Jayden) Fridell, Chezney (Trevor) Butler, 18 great grandchildren, and his sister Marie Myer of Hiawatha, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharron Fridell, parents, Boyd and Ada Fridell, son-in-law Tim Ricker, and brother John R. Fridell.
