Gary Jensen

Gary Russell Jensen, 74, passed away Saturday evening January 31, 2009 at his home in Goshen with his wife and family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 11, 1934 to Lynn and Ileen Curtis Jensen in his Grandmother Curtis' home in Springville. Gary received his education in Springville schools. He worked as a truck driver and for NuSkin until his retirement. He married his sweetheart Grace Hone (White) on July 27, 1991 in the Jordan River Temple and had an immediate family of three sons and their families. Gary loved to fish, travel, shop at garage sales and Deseret Industries, and work on electronics. He could fix just about anything you asked him to. He is survived by his wife, Grace, of Goshen; sons, Dennis White, Provo, Greg (Mary) White, Santaquin, Terence (Christine) White, Goshen; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald (Ann) Jensen, Santaquin; and a sister, Diane (Lowell) Bye, Emmett, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Burnell Jensen, a granddaughter, Amber White, and a great granddaughter, Lily Meidinger. The family would like to thank the Goshen and Santaquin EMS, doctors and nurses at Mt. View Hospital, and VistaCare Hospice nurses Robin and Andrea for all of their tender care. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 6th at 11:00 am at the Goshen LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Thursday 6 to 8 pm and Friday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Burial, Goshen Cemetery.
