Elaine Lee Barker was born March 7, 2017 at University Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She passed away in her parent's arms at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City April 30, 2017. She was born with congenital heart disease and fought very hard for 55 days to live and then peacefully returned to the arms of our loving Heavenly Father.
Elaine is the daughter of Aaron and Catherine Barker, sister of Belle, Cierra, Ammon and Gabriel. During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed listening to music, cuddling with soft toys and holding her parents and grandparents fingers. She was a fighter and had a very unique spirit about her. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her sister Cierra. She is survived by her parents Aaron and Catherine and siblings Belle, Ammon and Gabriel.
A memorial service will be held Thursday May 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the American Fork West Stake Center, 688 West 500 North, with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Burial will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated.
