Dustin Max Kay, age 31 of Santaquin Utah, died Monday September 7, 2020 from injuries sustained in an accident. Dustin was born in Payson, Utah on September 17, 1988 to Max and Lisa Kay.
Dustin worked several jobs in his life and enjoyed all of them. As a young boy and later on he worked at the Vincent family ranch helping his dad herd cows. He worked as a wildland firefighter, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He spent time on the oil rigs in North Dakota. Later he found his true love of work in the weld shop with his uncle Steele. He worked there for several years. Then went on to work for H&H Steel Fabrication.
Dustin made many lifelong friends everywhere he worked. He loved anything to do with off-roading and spending time in the desert. He was proud to be an organ donor.
Dustin is survived by his parents Max and Lisa Kay; brother and sister-in-law Blake and Kylie Kay; nephew Karson Kay; nieces Aubrey and Bailey Kay as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Madge and Glen Thomas and George and Nelda Leifson.
The family would like to send a special thanks to all the employees at H&H Steel Fabrication.
Graveside services will be held Monday September 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Santaquin City Cemetery.
